New Director of Junior Rugby 2016

The club would like to announce Ross Webster as our Director of Junior Rugby for the 2016 season. Ross brings many years experience in playing the game as well as coaching junior sides for the club over the last few years.

Thank you for putting your hand up Ross and we look forward to a great season.

Message from the Director of Junior Rugby:

Thank you for giving me this opportunity to participate in the great work being done by the Bowral Rugby Club committee and all of the other volunteers.

I would like to thank Nick Combes for his tireless work over the past 5 years and , more importantly, for agreeing to mentor me over the coming season.

As you all know, Bruce Alexander had volunteered to take over from Nick but is unable to do so at the moment. When Bruce is able to, and if he still wants to, I will be more than happy to step aside for him.

I think that the two principles that I would like to take forward for the Juniors are:

1. That the most important thing is that the kids enjoy themselves. This should be our overriding goal and if this happens then success will follow.

2. The vast majority of the club is made up of volunteers. Without them the club cannot function. Please be respectful of them and if you can volunteer your time, please do.

I look forward seeing you all at our first registration in person on 20 February at the clubhouse between 1-2.30pm. Also, please remember you can register on line at or our first training session on 4 March 2016.

Ross Webster
Director of Junior Rugby.
