Bowral Blacks Rugby Club will play host to the NSW Junior Rugby Union U17s State Championships on the 11th, 12th and 13th June at Eridge Park, Bowral.
Competing over the long weekend are nine teams from across Sydney and Regional NSW, including Eastwood, Gordon, Southern Districts, Parramatta, West Harbour, Penrith, Illawarra, Central Coast and Central West.
The Championships promise an excellent level of rugby, it will be a physical and intense competition for players and spectators.
Everyone is welcome to attend the championships and the Club is encouraging spectators to get down to Eridge Park for the first game on Saturday at 10.30am for an exciting three days of sport.
The Bowral Blacks 1st and 2nd grade teams are also playing at home (Eridge Park) on Saturday. Second grade kick off 1.30pm and First grade kick off at 3pm, both teams are taking on Wollongong University.
The Clubhouse will be open offering food and drink all weekend. There will be a chef preparing meals for dinner at the Clubhouse on Saturday night including a kids menu for families.
The Clubhouse will also be broadcasting the June Internationals Series, Australia vs England and Wales vs New Zealand games on Saturday night.
More than 500 people are expected to attend the championships and visit the Southern Highlands during the three day event.
