Bowral Blacks is continuing to raise money to support the clubhouse renovations through to completion of Stage 2 and Stage 3. To assist in these ongoing fundraising efforts, Bowral Blacks have received approval from the Australian Sports Foundation to facilitate tax deductible donations for donors.
The Australian Sports Foundation (ASF) was established by the Australian Government in 1986, after the Australian Sports Commission Act 1985 called for the creation of a company to support the development of sport in Australia.

From the ASF website: Our mission is to raise money for Australian sport. We assist hundreds of organisations every year to raise funds for Australian sport through our Sport Incentive Program and we provide small grants to community and grassroots sporting organisations to grow participation in sport through our Giving4Grassroots™ fund.
The ASF is supported by the Australian Sports Commission and is located on the Australian Institute of Sport campus in Canberra. The ASF is a non-profit company limited by guarantee and has an independent Board of Directors and a team of staff who are passionate about sport and dedicated to helping community and sporting organisations throughout Australia.
The ASF’s listing in the Income Tax Assessment Act (ITAA) 1997 as a Deductible Gift Recipient enables donations of $2 or more to the ASF to be tax deductible. https://asf.org.au/about/
