U17s State Championships – June Long Weekend

It was a great long weekend of rugby from teams across Sydney and Regional NSW. In the end the final came down to Parramatta v Central West, where Parramatta’s dominance of the competition continued with a convincing victory of 50 points over Central West.

During the weekend a photographer from Picndrive was in attendance and has some great photos available for purchase on line. Please have a look at: www.picndrive.com.au

Kerry Brady, Competitions Manager SJRU said, “It is extremely pleasing to have received so many good reports from those attending the tournament in Bowral and thanks must go to the Bowral Rugby Club who have been magnificent hosts over the 3 days. Special thanks go to the army of volunteers for all their hard work…the venue was superb and would be the envy of every Club!

To host a Championship takes a lot of work and effort and everyone appreciates Bowral Rugby clubs efforts. Once again my sincere thanks to all who attended for your cooperation and to Bowral Rugby Club for being such great hosts.”
